Our Team

An optometrist is the primary health-care provider for vision and eye
health concerns in Ontario. Optometrists have completed a Bachelor’s
degree prior to completing an additional 4 year Doctorate of Optometry
degree. Optometrists are highly educated and clinically trained to examine
and treat the eyes and visual systems of any patient, regardless of their age.

Licensed opticians are important members of the eye care team. They are trained and licensed through a two year college program and a national examination to fabricate, fit and adjust vision aids such as eyeglasses, contact lenses, and low vision devices based on the prescription of an optometrist.
